Where can I find a dog pram?

Postby yvette » Fri Mar 21, 2003 7:00 pm

I have been at many sites who only sell dog carts but I am looking to purchase a pram of some sort designed for dogs?

guess it depends on the size of your dog, here's a link..msg

to a site selling a dog pram/stroller:

there are some interesting items at theis site also:

It seems that you could use some strollers made for human babies by making some creative additions. 6 years ago when our dog became paraplegic and before we could find a cart for her (it was hard to locate one in those days), we used a heavy duty child's wagon to take Roxy for walks. I fashioned a removable three sided "box" which slipped into brackets on the sides and rear of the wagon - this supported Roxy in a sitting position and kept her from falling. It worked well. She was a large dog and a pram/ stroller wouldn't have worked.

Here's Roxy in her wagon:

I had great success using human stuff, like a baby

backpack, with old Charlie; I got it free at a yard sale. Have you tried any of that? I can almost guarantee, even new, it'll be cheaper.

Hi, I am also confuse to buy a stroller here in Australia but I solved my problem by utilising babyzen yoyo ... rn-babyzen for my pet as well! There is no restriction that you cannot use the baby stroller for pet!
