Los Angeles fire map

Post by CarolC »

There was a fire map on the CNN website today. It shows the location of the Palisades fire. I was checking where Two Hands Four Paws is located. Pretty close (blue dot). A little less than 4 miles if I measured right.

Their website still says
We Are Open!
Two Hands Four Paws remains fully operational at this time. If you have any questions about your upcoming appointment please don't hesitate to call us at (310) 475-8555
Thank you and please stay safe!

One of the original veterinary rehab places. I hope they'll be OK. The Palisades fire seems to be spreading east and north, not south.

Double post. They haven't updated the map on CNN since 10 this morning so I looked it up on the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection website. It shows the distance is 1.89 miles to the edge of the evacuation warning area (in yellow).

They just took a rescue dog that was hit by a car trying to escape the fires.
