Meet Tofu
SPECIAL NEEDS
Tofu is a lovable 7-month-old flame point Siamese looking for his forever home! He was rescued from a dumpster and has already overcome so much. When found, he was suffering from a serious upper respiratory infection that has since been treated. Tofu also has some neurological issues that cause him to wobble and lose his balance—but that doesn’t stop him from running, playing, and enjoying life to the fullest! These balance issues are lifelong, but they don’t affect his loving spirit or playful personality. To help him thrive, Tofu will need a low-sided, wide litter box with easy access, as he sometimes loses balance while using it and may miss. He’s learning to use the sides of the box to steady himself when needed. Tofu can also be a bit easily distracted—especially during mealtime—so it’s important to make sure he’s actually eating his food and not wandering off mid-meal. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations, so he’s ready to join your family! Tofu is very affectionate, doesn’t mind being held, and absolutely loves toys. If you’re looking for a special kitten with tons of love to give, Tofu is the one for you!
